Director of Enterprise Customer Delivery (Internally titled "Head of Project Operations, Americas")

Adyen is looking for an experienced Director of Enterprise Customer Delivery to lead our 25+ person organization across North America and LATAM. The Project Operations Managers focus primarily on the delivery and execution of complex global rollouts for our customers and ensure they go live with the Adyen solution most quickly and sustainably possible.

What you'll do

  • Lead and expand a team of experienced customer project professionals focusing on different product and solution disciplines across North America and LATAM.
  • As a professional services leadership team member, you will be responsible for the regional strategy, growth, and execution of the Project Operations team and contribute to the overall strategy and success of the North America and LATAM regions.
  • Work with and influence strategic stakeholders to improve merchant experience, operations efficiency, and product delivery.
  • Be an executive partner to the senior leadership of our merchants.
  • You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build and expand highly effective and motivated Project Operations teams, build and expand better product delivery, and create an environment for continuous improvement.
  • Develop, articulate, and execute a clear strategy for the team (also influence globally), in alignment with the company's overall business goals and market trends, to continuously evolve and improve how we work.

Who you are

  • An experienced, entrepreneurial and strategic leader with a proven track record of success in driving continuous improvement, innovation, and results in an environment of rapid growth.
  • You will be able to drive executive-level relationships with clients and other external stakeholders while forging excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders, establishing yourself as an integral part of the commercial success.
  • You're able to liaise with product leadership and influence the product strategy and part of ongoing feedback practices.
  • You're an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You can manage senior stakeholders and connect and collaborate seamlessly with a global, multi-cultural team working across time zones.
  • You are a strong people leader with the ability to inspire, lead, and grow high-performing teams and their leaders.
  • You have a proven track record of managing change and growing organizations at scale.
  • You're a strategic thinker who can spot operational and commercial opportunities to drive customer value and scalable improvements.
  • You have at least 5 years of people management experience (preferably experience managing manager of managers and across timezones)
  • A strong reputation for "getting things done", an entrepreneurial mindset that drives accountability for oneself and others.

The annual base salary range for this role is $230,000 to $311,000 plus RSU's; to learn more about our compensation philosophy, please click here.

This role is based out of our New York office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
