Content Marketing Manager

Adyen is looking for a strategic, hands-on, and collaborative Content Marketing Manager to support our editorial voice in Singapore and across the expanding APAC region. Reporting to the Head of Studio, APAC, you will be responsible for defining how Adyen’s story is told in one of the world's most dynamic fintech landscapes.

The content marketing manager role is focused on the day-to-day creation, execution, and optimization of Adyen's content marketing plan. They have strong project management skills, and the ability to stick to timelines and drive projects forward. This role requires a strong blend of creativity, project management, and editorial skills.

You are a master storyteller who can pivot from writing technical white papers to crafting high-engagement LinkedIn posts. This role requires a unique blend of industry curiosity and a commercial mindset, ensuring every piece of content serves a purpose in driving brand awareness, establishing thought leadership, and generating high-quality leads.

What you’ll do

  • Regional content and market entry strategy: Enhance and execute on the content roadmap for APAC. You will create bespoke content strategies, ensuring our narrative is localized, relevant, and impactful for diverse regulatory and cultural environments.
  • Social media management: Define and manage Adyen APAC’s presence on social channels, with a primary focus on LinkedIn. You will develop "social-first" content, lead thought-leadership programs, and proactively grow our APAC community by driving follower acquisition and meaningful engagement to build Adyen’s authority in the regional B2B space.
  • Platform & media landscape insight: Monitor evolving B2B media trends, platform algorithms, and content consumption behaviors across LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels. Apply these insights to continuously refine format, tone, and distribution strategy for maximum impact.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with local and global teams, including country marketing managers, content marketing, designers, product marketing managers, commercial teams, sales, and agencies, to produce compelling and relevant content and marketing materials.
  • Project management: Develop and execute detailed project plans, encompassing resources, timelines, and milestones, while prioritizing tasks to ensure multiple complex projects remain on track to meet deadlines.
  • Hands-on creation: Write, edit, proofread, publish and optimize long and short-form copy for a wide range of formats including customer success stories (case studies), videos, blog posts, data-driven reports, event assets, ad copy, social copy and email nurturing flows.
  • Global to local translation: Work with the Global Content and Studio teams to adapt global content for the APAC market, ensuring the Adyen voice resonates locally without losing its global identity.
  • Agency and freelancer management: Manage external writing resources, ensuring adherence to product standards and brand consistency while upholding quality and voice.
  • Performance and optimization: Analyze content performance using data (Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo). Provide reporting and actionable insights to optimize future content, improve SEO rankings, and increase user engagement.
  • AI-enabled efficiency: You view AI as a co-pilot, not a replacement. You proactively integrate AI tools into your workflow to accelerate output and ensure your best creative work is delivered with maximum speed and precision.
  • Continuous innovation: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in content marketing to drive innovation and maintain competitive edge.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 5+ years in content marketing or strategic copywriting, with a preference for B2B Tech, Fintech, or Financial Services backgrounds.
  • Media and content ecosystem fluency: You have a strong understanding of the evolving media landscape and how B2B audiences consume content across platforms, from long-form reports to short-form and video-first formats.
  • Master storyteller: You have an impeccable eye for detail and a journalistic attitude. You know how to find the "angle" that turns complex technical updates into compelling stories.
  • LinkedIn specialist: You understand the nuances of the LinkedIn algorithm and know how to create content that encourages shares, comments, and professional engagement.
  • Audience-centric: You are curious and strive to understand the motivations, behaviors, and pain points of our merchant audience (from retail to digital platforms).
  • Proactive owner: You thrive in a flat, fast-paced environment. You are comfortable working hands-on and are prepared to work in silo, with internal teams, and with agencies and freelancers.You have a proven ability to meet strict deadlines while remaining open to iteration and feedback to ensure the best possible outcome.
  • Some domestic and international travel is required
