We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to manage and grow our frontend engineering team. You will be responsible for overseeing the architecture, design and implementation of complex frontend systems using modern frameworks like React. You will be dedicated to creating intuitive, engaging, and seamless user experiences by developing and applying the client-side logic of our application suite. You take pride in creating efficient, scalable, and maintainable code, while ensuring the responsiveness and performance of our applications across products. You will also serve as a mentor to less experienced team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

• Lead the frontend engineering team in building innovative consumer-facing web/mobile applications

\n

• Design scalable and high-performance frontend architectures using React.js

\n

• Establish best practices for frontend code quality, security, testing and performance

\n

• Drive continuous improvement of frontend code, systems and processes

\n

• Mentor and coach frontend engineers on technical design and best practices

\n

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design and backend engineering teams

\n

• Communicate technical design tradeoffs and solutions to business partners

\n

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment

• Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimised for speed and scale

• Understand company strategy, roadmap and the annual business plan and apply these to your work to ensure aligned outcomes

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development with deep expertise in React.js

\n

• Experience building complex frontend systems and workflows

\n

• Strong systems design thinking and technical leadership skills

\n

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

\n

• Comfortable with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and frontend performance

\n

• Passion for mentoring junior and mid-level engineers

\n

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field

\n

• Senior UI/UX knowledge and experience

\n

• Agricultural/supply chain industry experience highly desirable

\n

• Team management experience a plus

\n

• You have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy 

\n

• Strong planner with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize

\n

• Team player, willing to work collaboratively in a high-energy, fast-moving, start-up environment
