About the team
The Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) team at Airwallex is a collaborative group of legal minds and risk management experts. We're passionate about safeguarding Airwallex's operations, fostering a culture of compliance and ethical conduct, and ensuring we navigate the global financial landscape with integrity. We provide expert guidance and support to all areas of the business, proactively identifying, mitigating, and managing legal and financial risks.
What you’ll do
Reporting directly to the Chief Legal, Compliance and Risk Officer, in this role you will work alongside all Legal, Compliance and Risk (LRC) leadership teams to support and deliver strategic initiatives, track projects and develop and maintain reports to all levels across Airwallex. You will support and run the framework by which we ultimately manage the LRC functions and deliver on its OKRs ensuring that we prioritise effort to create maximum impact for Airwallex.
This role is based in Singapore or Hong Kong
Responsibilities:
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CLRCO
Manage the planning and tracking of quarterly and yearly OKRs for the team
Work cross functionally to ensure key projects are on track
Drive strategic projects that streamlines divisional and organizational processes
Take a data driven approach to ensure overall healthiness of the LRC division
Handle and manage projects and ad hoc incoming requests to promote scalability of the team
Represent the CLRCO when needed
Who you are
We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role.
Minimum qualifications:
10+ years of experience, preferably with a fast-growing tech startup in a similar strategy and project management role or top-tier strategy/management consulting firm
Strong analytical and problem solving skills essential
Experience in delivering strategic initiatives
Self-starter that can identify and prioritise opportunities to focus on
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong leadership experience with demonstrated success in influencing a broad stakeholder group
Technology, financial services and/or experience in a high growth environment is advantageous
Legal and/or compliance knowledge and background is an advantage
Up to date data analysis and reporting, expert in Microsoft Suite, Tableau, other reporting tools
