The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive team player who’s keen to build a career in Credit. You’ll bring a strong understanding of the loan application process and a passion for getting things right the first time. This role is perfect for someone who’s eager to step into the Credit space and grow their expertise in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
What you'll do
- Deliver packaged loan applications to the credit assessment team to ensure efficient processing. This includes but is not limited to:
- Packaging of loan applications ready for credit assessment
- Ordering title searches, ABN searches and company searches
- Basic KYC activities
- Ordering, following-up and retrieval of valuations
- Monitoring email inboxes
- Preparing basic manual letters
- Manage a pipeline of applications to ensure they flow through as efficiently to credit assessors
- Working hand in hand with our credit assessment teams to achieve the best outcome for customers/brokers
- Ensure all risk and compliance standards are maintained
Who are we looking for?
- You have a sound understanding of home loan processing and credit workflows
- A genuine interest in credit and lending, and the motivation to learn and grow in the role
- You can liaise with Clients in a professional manner and provide regular updates on the progress of their application from submission.
- You act as a leader in the company and can bring positivity, energy and flexibility to help create a great start-up culture;
- You are able to work autonomously and demonstrate attention to detail, including having strong data entry skills with a high accuracy rate.
- You have the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment whilst also adding to the Athena culture – a fun, energised, dynamic start up environment.
