In 2023, we experienced industry-leading growth and success. As we continue to accelerate our business growth into 2024, we are looking to expand our sales and growth team to support the continued success of Authsignal.
The Opportunity:
This is a ground floor opportunity that doesn't come along often. We are looking for an adaptable and hungry individual with 2-3 years of sales experience in SaaS sales who has an established network in Australia. You’ll be supported by the Authsignal growth team and play a key role in establishing Authsignal future growth in APAC. This is an opportunity for you to help lead the charge and grow a global business from Australia.
As a early member of the sales team, you'll be executing the company's growth and revenue strategy to create opportunities, close revenue, build industry awareness, and cement Authsignal’s footprint in Australia.
You’re a self-starter with an established network to leverage for your success. As is the nature of the business, you’ll be familiar with rapid change and bring a high level of flexibility to the role. The role combines prospecting, opportunity creation, and managing these through to close. You'll be attending local industry events, international trade shows and a moderate level of travel is required.
This is a rare opportunity to work with and learn how an early-stage organization successfully goes to market. You’ll be working with some of the strongest sales leadership in the SaaS startup world.
What You'll Do:
- This position will report to the Sales Leadership to grow our customer footprint within the APAC region.
- Outbound prospecting: On a weekly basis, identify prospects and engage and generate meetings.
- Manage a high volume of activity, including inbound leads, network introductions, outbound calls, emails, social selling, and LinkedIn.
- Meet weekly with prospects and industry piers to build trust and visibility in your role
- On a monthly basis, manage a quota, and achieve realistic targets on a quarterly basis.
- Manage and maintain a sales pipeline within our CRM, Hubspot.
- Attend local and international events and tradeshows for Authsignal
- Help build brand visibility for Authsignal in Australia, through meet-ups and marketing initiatives.
- Become a subject matter expert and evangelist of the Authsignal Platform and develop in-depth knowledge of industry standards, terminology, and use cases.
- Interface with key decision-makers and senior leaders to uncover pain points.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and effectively articulate value
- Play a key role in shaping our product roadmap by communicating customer requirements to the product and engineering teams.
Who You Are:
- Comfortable having conversations at a senior or C level.
- Adaptable and comfortable with a level uncertainty.
- Comfortable working Mid-market and Enterprise opportunities.
- Must have 2+ years of experience in SaaS sales, business development, and/or strategic partnerships
- Experience in payments, Cybersecurity, customer identity, and authentication is highly regarded.
- Have a strong understanding of demand generation and lead generation concepts and methods.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Comfortable with uncertainty and are able to bring solutions to the table, not problems.
- Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment and make things happen.
- Communication: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Creativity & Innovation: Generates new and innovative approaches to problems.
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership of the role and responsibilities.
- Able to travel when required.
