What Will You Be Doing?

Reporting to the Head of Sales you will build and nurture strong professional relationships with a network of Referral Partners to drive the referral of SMEs seeking working capital and asset finance funding to Banjo. Consistently engaging with Partners to ensure they understand Banjo’s product offering and key credit criteria to maximise conversion rates.

As a ground-breaking commercial brand in finance, this role has access to a large network of finance brokers. The position demands a proactive self-starting approach, with and owner-operator mentality to introducing the brand and concept to new channels of clients.
- Drive growth of loan product sales and referrals through strong relationships with Referral Partners.
- Prospect for potential new Referral Partners and turn this into increased awareness, leads, business activity and revenue.
- Formulate, implement, and manage a strategic territory plan regarding assigned and potential partners to achieve agreed sales targets.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Collaborate closely with internal marketing and sales support to initiate resource concepts and drive sales success.
- Develop and leverage your network within your geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
We are looking for a person who has demonstrated success in engaging a target market through creative, professional channels to influence sales of products, leveraging third-party referrals.
In addition to your resilient and engaging character, the role requires a methodical approach to formulating, implementing, and managing a strategic business plan with consistency that returns sales targets.

- Proven experience and highly developed skills in a sales/channel management role.
- An established network of commercial finance brokers and/or accountants.
- You are an insightful technical sales leader with an established relationship development approach with a developed network in financial services.
- Exceptional communication skills, an active listener who asks the right questions to learn more about the needs of the client.
- Strong and defined ability to present complex products in a simple, clear, and passionate way.
- Experience in financial services, accounting or relevant professional industry field.
- A tertiary qualification in the fields of Business, Commerce or Accounting is preferable.
