Senior Payments Analyst (Crypto)

Location: Melbourne (hybrid)

Salary: $80,000-$85,000 AUD

What You'll Do (but not limited to):

• Swift and accurate resolution to all AUD and Cryptocurrency payment delays including but not limited to, failed transactions, manual credits, limit increase requests and adjustments.
• Support VIP program and where authorised, complete approved adjustments for OTC transactions.
• Complete the extended verification for pending applications, ensuring that all client applications are processed timely.
• Assist with non-individual client account onboarding, including SMSF, Trust and company accounts.
• Review potentially compromised accounts, or other client risks (i.e.: AML/Fraud/Scams).
• Complete Suspicious Matter Reports (SMR’s) as required.
• Identify areas for improvements and opportunities to streamline processes so that efficiencies in all duties can be gained.

Who you are:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services, fintech environment or customer facing role.
• Experience with KYC trust, SMSF and company accounts in a financial services company.
• Exposure, understanding and interest in blockchain/digital assets industry.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
• Chainalysis/Reactor certification or similar is desirable.
• Experience with the ticket system Zendesk is preferable.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for compliance within the financial services environment.
• Understanding of the AML CTF Act, Corporations Act & Privacy Act.
• A proactive work approach.
