Job Description
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you’ll join our small, highly capable engineering team and play a key role in our technical direction. Working closely with our CTO, you’ll have influence over architectural decisions, engineering practices, and how our platform evolves as we scale.
We operate fully remotely with a high-trust culture, so you’ll thrive here if you’re self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable driving work forward autonomously.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of new services, features, and system improvements.
- Influence our architecture and contribute to shaping our technical roadmap as we scale an AI-first product.
- Work across the full tech stack: TypeScript, React, Postgres, AWS.
- Build reliable, observable, maintainable systems and champion engineering best practices.
- Own projects end-to-end, from requirement definition through to deployment and ongoing improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Growth, and other teams to solve high-impact problems.
- Contribute to building a strong engineering culture based on trust, autonomy, and craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- You have experience building large-scale software applications.
- Strong capability with TypeScript, Node.js, React, SQL, and modern frontend architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and CDK.
- A strong understanding of system design, architecture, and long-term maintainability.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- A mindset of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement, and our values resonate with you.
- Previous experience in a startup environment is preferred.
The salary range for this role is $140-170k + Super, depending on experience & skills.
Candidates must have full Australian Work Rights and be based in Australia to be considered for this role.
