Commercial Executive - Sydney
Salary Banding - $82,000 to $95,000 per annum.
Experience within a regulated Financial Services environment is desirable.
The Role
The Commercial Team builds and manages our partnerships with leading financial institutions, shaping ClearScore’s commercial strategy and driving innovation. By integrating our technology with partners’ products, we’re defining the next generation of consumer-focused financial tools and ensuring the ClearScore marketplace remains the best place to shop for credit.
As a Commercial Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the Commercial team on the core business as well as operational excellence of our Commercial function in Australia and New Zealand.
You will represent the voice of our partners to the broader business, working closely with the product and engineering team, our global finance team and 30+ partners on continual optimisation of the product and the conversion funnel. You will support commercial relationships with existing partners including financial management, marketing campaigns as well as pitches for new partners. You will also dive deep into our platform's rich data to derive key business and new initiative insights, produce reports and spot trends.
Responsibilities include:
- Obtain monthly application reporting from all of our lenders and ensure timely management of partner reporting.
- Liaise with lender partners to coordinate product updates, rate changes, and general maintenance of Partner offers on the ClearScore site
- Work with the Engineering to prepare tickets as requested from Commercial team to make required changes made to our partner product listings on our website.
- Support the administration of promotional marketing campaigns, including briefing in changes to internal teams.
- Work with Data/Analytics team to automate reporting and revenue tracking where possible.
- Support the wider Commercial Team in preparing reports for internal trading meetings and external quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
- Support administration tasks required for the Sydney office.
- Support the team in building a great culture for the Sydney office.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience in a commercially focused and client-facing environment (e.g - business development, account management
- Financial services or B2B tech or understanding of credit/lending landscape a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, and make data-driven decisions to support business insights and performance.
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Positive, ambitious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about financial technology and improving access to credit.
