Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our People & Culture team on a 12‑month parental leave contract, supporting the business during a critical period of growth and transformation.
Your opportunity
The Talent Acquisition Manager leads the organisation’s end‑to‑end hiring strategy, ensuring Cuscal attracts and secures high‑quality talent aligned to our values and long‑term business objectives.
This role is accountable for designing and delivering effective recruitment strategies, optimising hiring processes, and contributing to enterprise workforce planning and broader talent initiatives. By shaping a scalable, inclusive, and high‑performing recruitment function, the TA Manager plays a critical role in building the talent capability required to achieve our strategic goals and foster a positive, diverse workplace culture.
You’ll also make an impact by:
- Leading the development and execution of enterprise‑wide recruitment strategies to proactively address current and future talent needs
- Leveraging labour market intelligence and predictive analytics to identify emerging workforce requirements and strategic talent opportunities
- Providing governance and oversight of the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring consistent, scalable, and high‑quality delivery
- Championing an exceptional and inclusive candidate experience that reflects Cuscal’s values and strengthens our employer brand
- Setting direction for multi‑channel sourcing strategies, leveraging advanced tools, networks, and market insights
- Partnering with and coaching hiring leaders to clarify business needs, role design, and capability requirements
- Providing expert advice on role scoping, candidate profiles, and selection methodologies aligned to workforce strategy
- Owning and driving employer branding strategy, including content across career sites, campaigns, social channels, and candidate communications
- Driving innovation across recruitment technology, tools, and methodologies to enable scale and future‑readiness within the TA function
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
You’re a confident communicator with strong influencing skills and a highly collaborative approach to stakeholder partnership. Passionate about delivering exceptional recruitment outcomes, you perform strongly in fast‑paced environments and enjoy leading and contributing to a high‑performing talent acquisition team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- 8+ years’ experience in talent acquisition, with a strong track record of delivery across complex roles
- 2+ years’ experience leading or driving enterprise talent acquisition strategy and managing a team or function
- Tertiary qualifications in a HR‑related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience operating within fast‑paced, high‑growth, agile environments
- Strong strategic thinking, organisational capability, and communication skills
- Experience using recruitment systems and tools (e.g. ATS platforms)
- Exceptional business acumen, with the ability to build credibility and influence senior stakeholders and external partners
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have:
- Experience recruiting within Technology and/or Product environments
- Experience within Payments or Financial Services
- Prior exposure to broader Human Resources function
- Experience supporting system implementations, particularly through post go‑live transition and stabilisation
