Purpose
The Professional Services Manager role is accountable for the successful operation of the consulting component of Entsia’s Delivery function, providing skilled technical resources for our customer’s needs. As the backbone of Entsia’s delivery capability, the role will be challenged to exceed our customer’s expectations in the solutions delivered and how we deliver them.
The Professional Services Manager also plays a pivotal role as a member of Entsia’s broader leadership team, ensuring collaboration and liaison with the other sub-functions of Delivery to drive business growth and solidify Entsia’s position as the market leader of integrated insurance distribution solutions.
Responsibilities
The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Provide capable, qualified and motivated consultants to the Portfolio Manager’s project delivery teams and delighting customers with on time, on budget delivery success.
- Establish and develop a technical centre of excellence focused on best practices, knowledge sharing, and innovation in how the Entsia platform is configured to meet our customer’s requirements.
- As a strong leader, develop current and future leaders within the Professional Services team and build a high performing Professional Services team fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and technical excellence.
- Define a vision for the Professional Services team and support the Head of Delivery in the creation, execution and tracking of the Delivery team’s plans to achieve the company’s strategic goals.
- Demonstrate keen commercial awareness in the development of the team through a focus on efficiency, quality and management of costs.
- Comply with company policies and procedures on the handling of personal data, data confidentiality and information security.
Skills and Experience
The role requires the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a Professional Services management role with vendor-side customer delivery experience.
- Strong leadership and change management competencies and capabilities.
- Team leadership that values collaboration and teamwork, focuses on the achievement of team goals and inspires team members to perform and grow.
- Experience in managing both waterfall and agile software delivery projects.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytics skills.
- Proven capability to interact and influence both internally and externally on outcomes.
- Ability to think and execute at a strategic and tactical level where required.
- Demonstrate high level of self-awareness and a desire to learn and grow whilst demonstrating Entsia’s core values.
