Responsibilities

• Lead EPAM strategic engagements in planning, selecting, and optimizing offerings that map a client’s vision & requirements to solutions
• Act as a subject matter expert for Consumer Goods, Retail, and Travel & Hospitality industries
• Develop business and product strategies to support our client's digital, commercial, and operational capabilities
• Work with our clients to understand emerging trends and technologies, the capabilities they uniquely enable, how they can be applied, and what problems they can solve
• Work closely with Florida and Carolina business units to support and lead business development
• As a Principal Consultant, you will help to define EPAM’s go-to-market value proposition for consumer industries consulting. This includes interfacing with other senior leadership to craft related industry offerings
• Define, implement, and maintain industry best practices that balance business, technology, and customer needs
• Support sales and pre-sales activities by assessing opportunities, designing solutions, developing proposals, establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients, and helping to close new deals

Requirements

• Experience leading and implementing strategies and solutions for companies in consumer-facing industries
• Proven ability to operate independently at client locations. We are lean and rapidly growing - we need experienced consulting leaders who are capable of taking charge while also engaging in hands-on project work
• End-to-end understanding of customer experiences, shopping channels, and industry solutions
• Strong understanding of Consumer Goods, Retail, Travel, and/or Hospitality technologies and trends
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencer skills
• Skilled at analysing complex business issues with the ability to effectively communicate these issues to clients
• Able to anticipate and identify risks and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues as they occur
• Strong client network within the Consumer Goods, Retail, Travel, and/or Hospitality industries
• Executive-level presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven record of building effective teams - recruiting and retention is critical
• Project management
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. Additional education is appreciated
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Ability to work in an ever-changing high-growth environment
