We are seeking a Senior / Lead Data Engineer (Scala, Elasticsearch) expertise to join our diverse team of highly skilled experts. What You’ll Do

• Enhance the current search architecture through a comprehensive review
• Create and implement new features and modules to enrich the system functionality
• Advise clients on search best practices
• Expand search capabilities by adding various languages to the system
• Conduct code reviews and develop features using the best software development approaches, prioritizing clean code and design
• Communicate with customers and actively participate in meetings and demos to align with project goals
• Enjoy knowledge-sharing and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment

What You Have

• Proficiency in Scala development
• Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch and Scala core
• Experience with Postgres
• Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases
• Ability to use Agile methods (Scrum / Kanban)
• English language level – B2 and higher

Nice to have

• Expertise in cloud services such as AWS, GCP or Azure
• Background in Redis
