What You’ll Do

• Lead implementation of the data sync processes that are unified and compliant with standards and guidelines
• Ensure seamless business operations during the data synchronization processes migration to the preferred solution
• Effectively downsize the infrastructure of the legacy system following the migration to new data synchronization procedures (Windows EC2 instances)
• Maintain focus on data privacy, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other legal mandates, as you will be handling sensitive data
• Handle external dependencies, as data synchronization processes are distributed across multiple teams and business domains within the organization
• Document existing processes that are synchronizing data between different systems and the Emails Delivery Platform
• Support the adoption and utilization of consolidated database features
• Assist in enhancing engineers' skills through professional development opportunities
• Help onboard new team members by guiding an already-known domain

What You Have

• Expert-level comprehension of MS SQL Server, including SSIS, Linked Server and Stored Procedures
• Proficiency in AWS & Cloud Services such as Lambda, S3 and EC2
• Understanding of Microservices architecture, inclusive of AWS Services and REST
• Dexterity in DevOps tools, including GIT, Bamboo, Terraform and Team City
• Experience in working with ETL solutions
• Familiarity with Kafka
• Experience in planning and executing highly efficient processes that handle high-volume data
• Familiarity with the monitoring tool Datadog
• Knowledgeable about OWASP security principles
• B2+ English, both verbal and written
