The project will be involving the migration of data and workflows and reports from on-premise infrastructure and SQL Server to AWS. As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data visualization and reporting solutions using technologies such as Tableau and Power BI, while leveraging your understanding of other project technologies

Responsibilities

• Data Visualization and Reporting: Design and develop interactive and visually compelling dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Apache Superset
• Data Integration and Transformation: Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data integration and perform necessary transformations to enable effective reporting and analysis
• Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their reporting needs, and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions
• Data Modeling and Optimization: Design and implement efficient data models to support the reporting needs, ensuring data accuracy and performance optimization

• Performance Tuning and Optimization: Optimize queries, data sources, and reports to improve performance and responsiveness of BI solutions
• Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and share knowledge on BI best practices
• Technical Documentation: Document the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions, including data models, visualization designs, and system configurations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analytics Engineer or similar role, with a focus on data visualization and reporting
• Strong proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or Apache Superset for designing and building interactive dashboards and reports
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data transformation concepts
• Experience with SQL and database technologies, including proficiency in writing complex queries for data retrieval and analysis
• Familiarity with AWS services relevant to the project, such as MWAA and RDS for PostgreSQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective BI solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Upper-intermediate level of English
