We invite you to apply for our Senior DevOps Engineer position on our remote multi-cloud team that uses GCP predominantly and also AWS. Your chief responsibilities will include provisioning access permissions, FWs, APIs, Quota, and processing various other requests.
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting cutover/migration proceedings, offering on-call assistance during application migration cutovers, participating in cutover bridge, rectifying connections/permissions problems, initiating, and enforcing solutions. Attending war room calls and contributing to troubleshooting activities will also be a part of your regular duties.
Responsibilities
- Access permissions, FWs, APIs, Quota, and other request provisions and management for a multi-cloud setup using primarily GCP and partially AWS
- Cloud resource provisioning for all new migrations/deployments, exclusive ecosystem provisioning such as Jenkins, Vault, Git, Artifactory, birth-righted AppGate entitlements, and projects/accounts in GCP, AWS clouds
- Comprehensive review of incoming requests, resolution of details, updating build spreadsheet, subsequent level approval requests, progress tracking, and standard request first-level approvals
- Assistance with cutover/migration activities, responding to application migration cutover on-call support requests, cutover bridge membership, connections/permissions issue resolution, and solution implementation
- War room call participation and troubleshooting activity involvement
- Cooperation with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery is seamless
Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience in DevOps or a related field
- Mastery in CI/CD, Google Cloud Platform, and Terraform
- Robust experience in GCP and AWS services provisioning, configuration, and management
- Prior experience with multi-cloud architectures and cloud workload migrations
- Proficiency in complex issue troubleshooting in a multi-cloud environment
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Sound communication skills, both verbal and written, along with an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency
Nice to have
- Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker
- Strong familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Ansible, and Jenkins
