A senior team member responsible for the management and coordination of internal and external tasks related to the vulnerability management function. Produces insights, reports, and metrics periodically for remediation recommendations. This role will act as a lead to the Vulnerability Operations team but does not have direct reports.

A senior team member responsible for the management and coordination of internal and external tasks related to the vulnerability management function. Produces insights, reports, and metrics periodically for remediation recommendations. This role will act as a lead to the Vulnerability Operations team but does not have direct reports.
What You’ll Do
- As the global Vulnerability Operations Lead part of the global cyber defense team , you will:
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in operating companies, coordinating the communication of vulnerability report findings for remediation
- Analyze vulnerability report findings to assess risks and prioritize finding actions
- Aggregate and enhance data from various sources, including vulnerability and code scanners, to ensure comprehensive threat analysis
- Monitor vulnerability scanning processes and outcomes, reporting on trends and ensuring timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities
- Handle responsible disclosures, evaluating the reproducibility and impact of reported vulnerabilities, and determining remediation strategies and required efforts
- Communicate with system owner stakeholders to report findings and follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs) based on the criticality of vulnerabilities
- Maintain a repository of identified vulnerabilities and corresponding mitigation controls
- Provide leadership and direction to Vulnerability Management Analysts, ensuring effective team operations and reporting to the Head of Attack Surface Management
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cyber security, or related field (master’s degree preferred)
- 10+ years of relevant IT and Information Security experience
- Preference in experience with Rapid 7 tooling
- Technical Cyber Security or IT engineering background with a focus in Vulnerability Operations
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical implementation plans CISM, CISSP, or other relevant (technical) certifications are required
- Solid stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
- Strong results orientation to achieve goals
- Familiarity with the retail industry
- Familiarity with IT / Cloud / Cyber engineering tools, processes and methodologies
- Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken
