Responsibilities

• Create pipelines to deploy to edge devices
• Provide an architecture for quick POC and POV of algorithms
• Manage devices in Azure through various Azure services

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IoT Architect with a focus on Azure solutions
• In-depth knowledge of Azure IoT services, including IoT Hub, Azure Functions, Azure IoT Edge, and related components
• Programming - JSON, Python (experience writing custom Python code on custom hardware is a must)
• Database SQL, MS Azure Blob Storage, MS Synapse (nice to have), OSI PI Historian
• Cloud IoT - Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, and related cloud services. Terraform is a plus
• IoT Technologies - Docker, MQTT, AMQP
• Web development - Experience in UI/UX practices, Web API Services, Security Principles
• Automation - Automation Protocols (Modbus, EthernetIP), OPC, PLC's, instrumentation
• Strong understanding of communication protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, Modbus, MQTT, DNP3, etc
• Ability to quickly evaluate and determine the validity and applicability of new IoT technologies
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies
• Strong customer engagement skills
• Ability to translate user needs with the vision of how to develop and scale a solution
• Highly innovative and outside-the-box thinker
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven and can work independently
