We are actively seeking a seasoned Java Developer with proficiency in AWS to join our remote team. In this role, you will lead innovation by creating unique and inventive solutions to tackle challenges. You will also actively seek opportunities to enhance the design, interface, and architecture of our client's cloud-based products. Your expertise in building application-layer services, including backend development, monitoring, scaling, and optimization, will streamline enterprise-level product administration.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and elevate the quality of our product
• Collaborate with the team to implement new features and functionalities
• Maintain and improve the existing codebase
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices
• Architect and implement a scalable microservice infrastructure
• Create and manage APIs and integrations with other services
• Ensure continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Engage with stakeholders to understand and define project requirements
• Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Proficiency in AWS, including Amazon EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
• Familiarity with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL tools
• Deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, Clean Code, and System Design
• Expertise in APIs and Integration
• Strong familiarity with Microservices and Spring
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks
• Excellent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with messaging systems, such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
