We are in search of a Lead JavaScript Developer to join our remote team.

This role involves working on a challenging project that requires a deep understanding of JavaScript and its frameworks, especially ReactJS and Redux. The project focuses on building a web application that manages and visualizes data for a leading retail company. You will be working with a team of experienced developers and will have the opportunity to lead the development process. If you are a passionate JavaScript developer with experience in AWS and React, we would love to have you in our team.

Responsibilities

Lead the development process of a web application for a retail company, ensuring high quality code and timely delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, architects, and QA engineers
Mentor and lead the development team, providing guidance and support in technical and soft skills
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and the team's technical capabilities

Requirements

5+ years of experience in JavaScript and its frameworks, especially ReactJS
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
Proficiency in Node.js, Redux and NestJS
Expertise in Redis and PostgreSQL
Experience with Agile methodology and working in Scrum teams
Experience in leading development teams, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality code
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills in English, with an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Server
