About the role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager in Riyadh to oversee and optimize our technology-focused program. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, providing flexibility to work from home while occasionally visiting EPAM offices, client sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of software development projects, ensuring optimal implementation, performance and completion. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and proven experience in Waterfall project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the delivery of a multi-project program using Waterfall methodologies
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and management of expectations
• Oversee program progress to ensure timely and effective delivery of each project within the scope
• Work with product owners and engineering teams to ensure clear communication, remove obstacles and address project challenges promptly
• Monitor project resources, ensuring optimal utilization and coordinate with resource managers for any needs
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging and implementing best practices for project management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. A Master's degree would be a plus
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification
• Proven experience in managing multi-project programs in a technical environment with a demonstrable track record of success
• Experience working with and managing software development teams, full-stack engineers and other technical professionals
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies with a focus on Waterfall. Agile methodology is a nice-to-have skill
• Demonstrated experience working with fixed priced projects, including successfully managing budgets, timelines and deliverables within fixed constraints
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project challenges
• Strong leadership skills, capable of guiding teams through complex projects and motivating them to achieve project goals
• Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate project progress, manage expectations and address concerns in a timely manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey project requirements, updates and issues to diverse audiences
