We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer with AWS to become a part of our remote DevOps team, providing multiple DevOps-related services to various product teams for an international pharmaceutical company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement best practices for managing Jenkins instances across multiple teams
• Continuously improve Jenkins service architecture, delivery process, monitoring, and user experience
• Streamline the delivery process by automating deployments, integrating with version control systems, and implementing CI/CD practices
• Maintain service knowledge base and documentation by regularly reviewing and improving the knowledge base to address common queries and known issues
• Collaborate with product teams to understand their specific requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable Jenkins pipelines
• Provide guidance and support to users in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting their pipelines
• Manage and enhance the shared library used by Jenkins pipelines, ensuring it is well-documented, easy to use, and follows best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in implementing and managing CI/CD processes
• Strong track record of supporting Jenkins instances as a shared platform for end users
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining Jenkins pipelines and shared libraries
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly EC2 and EKS
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and administration
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in implementing monitoring solutions for applications and infrastructure
• Demonstrated service owner mindset, taking ownership of the services and driving continuous improvement
• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency or higher (B2+)
