Responsibilities

• Program in TSQL along with Azure Data Factory framework and Python scripting
• Perform ETL processes using frameworks like Azure Data Factory or Synapse or Databricks
• Perform Requirement Analysis, Strategic Analysis, Software Development Fundamentals, Design, Development, Maintenance, Testing, and Implementation of efficient data flow and batch processes in applications
• Work to create an end-to-end pipeline to load data by reading from multiple sources and load to the landing layer or SQL tables

Requirements

• BS in computer science or engineering degree or a related field or equivalent work experience required
• Experience in Requirement Analysis, Strategic Analysis, Software Development Fundamentals, Design, Development, Maintenance, Testing, and Implementation of efficient data flow and batch processes in applications
• Experience in TSQL programming along with Azure Data Factory framework and Python scripting
• Excellent understanding of relation transactional databases like MSSQL, Azure SQL, and cloud-based frameworks like MS Azure
• Strong knowledge of Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes using frameworks like Azure Data Factory or Synapse or Databricks
• Establishing the cloud connectivity between different systems like ADLS, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Axway, etc
• Hands-on experience in Azure cloud services like Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse, MSSQL Db, Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Blob Storage, etc
• Worked to create an end-to-end pipeline to load data by reading from multiple sources and loading to the landing layer or SQL tables
• Experience in TSQL (MSSQL/SYBASE) code development, performance tuning, query optimization, and extensive batch or ETL creation experience with better error handling
