We are looking for a talented and experienced remote Lead Cloud Engineer to join our growing team.

With 5+ years of relevant work experience and at least 1 year of leadership experience, you will play a crucial role in the development and management of our cloud infrastructure, focusing on Azure, Kubernetes, and network topologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure Infra-as-Code using ARM/Bicep or Terraform for cloud database provisioning and management
• Manage Kubernetes pod deployments and configuration using Helm charts deployments
• Ensure proper Kubernetes network configuration, including service mesh
• Oversee release engineering processes and orchestration configuration and optimization (GH actions)
• Maintain and optimize Azure network topologies, including App Gateway configurations, DNS record management (Infoblox/Azure Private DNS), firewall management, and CA certificate management
• Set up and manage logging and monitoring configurations
• Monitor and mentor the team members

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
• Expertise in Azure Infra-as-Code using ARM/Bicep or Terraform
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes pod deployments and configuration using Helm charts deployments
• Experience with Kubernetes network configuration, i.e., service mesh
• Familiarity with release engineering processes and orchestration configuration and optimization (GH actions)
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure network topologies, i.e., App Gateway configurations, DNS record management (Infoblox/Azure Private DNS), firewall management, CA certificate management
• Proficiency in logging and monitoring configuration
• B2+ English level

Nice to have

• Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP
• Knowledge of additional scripting languages, such as Python or Ruby
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker
• Certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, or other relevant technologies
• Excellent organizational and communicational skills
