We are seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. You will working alongside developers and DevOps engineers to deliver new services using the latest technologies to replace legacy components and modernize the existing technology landscape.

In this role, you will be responsible for championing automated testing across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, designing and implementing test automation frameworks, and mentoring and coaching manual test and software engineers.

Responsibilities

• Champion automated testing across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle and articulate the benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Design and implement test automation frameworks across all parts of the technology stack
• Mentor and coach manual test and software engineers to ensure your test automation vision becomes a reality, with demonstrable benefits to throughput and quality
• Combine the mindset of a tester with both the desire and ability to put those tests into code for full automation, while being happy to perform a degree of manual, particularly exploratory, testing
• Develop and maintain regression and automation suites
• Collaborate closely with end-users, business analysts, and developers to ensure sufficient test coverage
• Own test management and reporting processes to support continuous delivery
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins
• Work with micro-services and event-based architectures
• Adhere to Agile, Test Driven Development (TDD), and DevOps practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automated testing in software engineering
• 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
• Strong experience delivering automated testing in an enterprise
• Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks across all parts of the technology stack
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining regression and automation suites
• Experience collaborating closely with end-users, business analysts, and developers to ensure sufficient test coverage
• Experience owning test management and reporting processes to support continuous delivery
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins
• Experience working with micro-services and event-based architectures
• Expertise in C# software engineering
• Prior experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• B2+ English level proficiency
