We invite you to become a part of our remote team as the Lead Azure DevOps Engineer.

This role centers around building and securing our Azure cloud environments. You will collaborate with our development and infrastructure teams to embed cloud security best practices within our Azure framework. Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure cloud security solutions using an infrastructure-as-code approach
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices within Azure infrastructure
• Create and maintain secure, compliant cloud environments
• Set up monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments for detecting security incidents and vulnerabilities
• Deploy access management and security controls in cloud environments to align with security standards
• Ensure cloud environments and applications comply with security and regulatory standards
• Provide guidance to other teams on cloud security best practices
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud security trends and technologies
• Conduct regular security evaluations and audits on the cloud infrastructure
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud security processes and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in roles related to cloud security engineering
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
• Expertise in Azure cloud security, with hands-on experience in an infrastructure-as-code approach
• Experience deploying security controls in cloud environments, including monitoring, alerting, and access management
• Proficiency in Git for version control and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other similar tools
• Strong understanding of container orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or Openshift
• Experience setting up monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments
• Solid grasp of web infrastructure fundamentals, including DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking, security best practices, performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or HyperScale
