Join our remote Lead Azure DevOps Engineer team, focusing on the development and protection of our Azure cloud environments.

Collaborate with our development and infrastructure teams, integrating cloud security best practices into our Azure framework. This exciting role will allow you to handle innovative technologies and significantly impact the security of our cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Designing and executing Azure cloud security solutions using an infrastructure-as-code approach
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to apply security best practices across Azure infrastructure
• Creating and maintaining secure, compliant cloud environments
• Establishing monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments for detecting security incidents and vulnerabilities
• Deploying access management and security controls in cloud environments to comply with security standards
• Ensuring cloud environments and applications comply with security and regulatory standards
• Providing guidance to other teams on cloud security best practices
• Staying current with emerging cloud security trends and technologies
• Conducting regular security evaluations and audits on the cloud infrastructure
• Contributing to the continuous enhancement of cloud security processes and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security engineering roles
• Track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
• Expertise in Azure cloud security, including practical experience with infrastructure-as-code approach
• Experience deploying security controls for cloud environments, including monitoring, alerting, and access management
• Proficiency with Git for version control and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
• Solid understanding of container orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or Openshift
• Experience setting up monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of web infrastructure fundamentals, including DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking, security best practices, performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or HyperScale
