We are in search of a committed remote Senior Performance Test Engineer. This pivotal role involves testing the capacity, stability, and scalability of third-party applications before they are integrated into our client's systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing tests to ensure optimal system performance and delivering top-notch service to our clients. As a part of our remote team, the incumbent is expected to effectively collaborate with other team members, primarily based in North American time zones.

Responsibilities

• Development and execution of performance and load tests to maximize system capabilities
• Creation and maintenance of performance test plans, inclusive of scripts and test data
• Setup of performance testing frameworks, inclusive of persistent test data storage and trend analysis
• Collaboration with the development team to identify and rectify performance issues
• Participation in defect triage discussions and the ability to challenge the development team's priority perceptions
• Effective communication within a startup-like environment with team members

Requirements

• A minimum of three years' experience in Performance Testing with a strong emphasis on analysis and testing fundamentals
• Comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in Performance Testing Tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar
• Proficiency in REST API testing and generating test data
• Solid understanding of Generative AI and its applications
• Excellent communication skills in a startup-like environment with an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency
• Demonstrated experience in creating and executing high-quality performance test plans
• Capability to set up performance testing frameworks with persistent test data storage and trend analysis
• Proven experience with stubbing/mocking dependencies to facilitate testing
• Competence in monitoring testing environments and identifying performance issues
• Willingness to participate in defect triage discussions and challenge development priority perceptions

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
