Logistics and Customs Specialist Description
Join our remote team as a Logistics and Customs Specialist to support our internal project focused on logistics and supply chain management.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining an updated database of leased equipment, creating and checking shipment documentation, and supporting procurement, logistics, and customs processes to ensure timely delivery of materials. You will also manage incoming and outgoing flows of goods on a project level with external parties as well as among EPAM affiliates.

- Maintain updated the data base (Excel) of leased equipment and proceed with paperwork for return or prolongation on time (UZ, KZ, UA, AM)
- Create and check carefully shipment documentation
- Post incoming documents to internal system
- Support the Procurement, Logistics and Customs processes to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Manage and track incoming and outgoing flows of goods on project level with external parties as well as among EPAM Affiliates
- Communicate and coordinate material status information with production, logistics, finance teams
- Communicate effectively and proactively with both internal and external stakeholders, escalating any issue that could impact costs or timelines
- Working closely with other teams and provide guidance from Inventory management perspective to set up an efficient end-to-end process
- Consolidate data and prepare analytics for internal use (pivot table)
Requirements
- University (Bachelor’s) degree in Logistics and Customs
- You will need 1+ years of logistics/supply chain and/or import/export experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a team and as individual
- Ability to use information and communication technologies as a tool and resource
- Relevant work experience with other international development organizations is an advantage
- Advanced user of World and Excel
- Excellent communication skills in English at B2 level or higher
