We are seeking a Senior Software Maintenance Engineer to provide enterprise-level support to customers of a major cloud service provider.

It is a fully remote position offering you the flexibility to work from any location in Poland, whether it's your home or one of our well-equipped offices in Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Warsaw, or Wroclaw.

As a Cloud Engineer in the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering organization you will work on the Cloud Developer Platform and Interfaces that enable streamlined application and service development on top of our Cloud Infrastructure. You’ll work closely with client’s team and users ensuring fast turnaround of feature requests and bug fixes.

You will be working on capabilities that will reduce engineering effort to provision, deploy, configure, update and repair activities during the lifecycle of an application, game or service running on our cloud infrastructure.

We are a DevOps style organization practicing “you build it, you run it” for all capabilities that we offer.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of our global Cloud Tooling team which owns services like Hashicorp Vault, authentication and authorization, Cloud Platform provisioning and lifecycle management, and certificate monitoring
• Develop high quality, stable code for use in automation and internal customer facing APIs
• Take part in providing support to customers on the services Cloud Engineering offer
• Write and publish High Level Designs and developer documentation
• Solve problems at every layer of the technology stack
• Participate in bottom up planning around release schedules, workload and priority
• Design for privacy, security, compliance, high availability, performance and resilience across all web services and infrastructure capabilities

Requirements

• Experience with secret management solutions like Vault, authentication and authorization concepts
• Experience with certificate management and basic knowledge of cryptography and encryption
• Experience using Terraform, Git and other IaC tooling
• Extensive knowledge of working with AWS, in particular with provisioning, IAM roles and general account management
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes solutions like EKS
• Good networking knowledge, particularly of networking in AWS

Nice to have

• Experience in Golang, or other languages like Java, C/C++, or Rust and willingness to learn this quick
