We're in search of a dedicated remote Senior Performance Test Engineer who will prove crucial in assessing the capacity, stability, and scalability of third-party applications before their merger into our client's system.

This role encompasses the design and implementation of tests, driving to ensure the systems function at their peak levels to offer superior service to our clients. Being a part of our remote team necessitates effective collaboration with other team members, mainly situated in North American time zones.

Responsibilities

• Creation and implementation of performance and load tests to certify optimal system operation
• Development and upkeep of performance test plans, inclusive of scripts and test data
• Setting up of performance testing frameworks featuring enduring test data storage and trend analysis
• Working together with the development team to identify and rectify performance issues
• Participation in defect triage discussions and questioning development's perception of priority
• Efficient communication within a startup-like environment with team members

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Performance Testing, focusing on analysis and testing fundamentals
• Extensive knowledge and skill in Performance Testing Tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar
• Previous experience with REST API testing and generation of test data
• Solid understanding of Generative AI and its applications
• The skill to communicate effectively in a startup-like environment with an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
• A proven history of creating and implementing high-quality performance test plans
• Experience in establishing performance testing frameworks featuring enduring test data storage and trend analysis
• Previous experience with stubbing/mocking dependencies to facilitate testing
• The ability to monitor environments under test and identify performance issues
• Readiness to join in defect triage discussions and question development's perception of priority

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
