Description

We seek a hands-on Cloud Network Security Engineer to become a key player in managing vulnerabilities and operational security within our Azure cloud environment.

You'll be at the frontline of our cybersecurity defense, operating in a critical role that bridges the gap between our local and global infosec teams as well as the iptiQ Americas cloud infrastructure team.

What You’ll Do

• Understand and address vulnerability alerts from internal security tools
• Identify specific issues in our infrastructure from these alerts
• Prepare actionable remediation tasks and assist in their implementation
• Continuously review our overall security posture and provide recommendations
• Track all open security tasks and request exceptions from the Global Infosec team when necessary
• Serve as the primary contact point between local and global infosec teams, as well as iptiQ Americas cloud infrastructure team

What You Have

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience with provisioning, configuring and securing Azure solutions
• At least 5+ years of expertise with scripting/automation and CI/CD in Azure
• 3+ years of proficiency in container services, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Service
• Track record in Azure Cloud components such as MS Defender for Cloud/CSPM, network/hub-and-spoke, NVAs/Palo Alto, Web Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Virtual Machines, Databases/Cosmos DB, MS SQL
• Understanding of Cloud Security: encryption, certificate management, network security, etc
• Competency in Operation Management Technologies like Azure Monitor or Datadog
• Exceptional documentation skills and the ability to create detailed reports and procedures

• Working knowledge of Salesforce integration
