We are actively seeking a Junior Android Developer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will engage in full-cycle Android application development within an Agile environment. Your primary focus will be to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. As a crucial part of our team, your work will directly impact the user experience and success of our Android applications.

Responsibilities

• Engage in full-cycle Android application development within an Agile environment
• Communicate with the customer to clarify requirements
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Write clean and maintainable code
• Perform code reviews for peers
• Design architecture of a feature or application from scratch
• Work with different screen sizes and RESTful APIs
• Implement offline storage, multithreading, and performance tuning
• Write Unit tests and understand the Espresso UI test framework

Requirements

• At least 1 years of relevant experience in Software Development
• Strong Java skills with the ability to write clean and maintainable code
• Proficiency in designing the architecture of a feature or application from scratch
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and design patterns such as MVP, MVVM
• Good English communication skills and experience in client-facing communications
• Self-management and strong prioritization skills
• Capability to work in an agile environment without direct supervision
• Comprehensive knowledge of Android SDK and experience in working with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Experience with offline storage, multithreading, and performance tuning
• Ability to write Unit tests and understanding of the Espresso UI test framework

Nice to have

• Experience with RxJava
• Knowledge of data binding and Android Jetpack components
• Understanding of Kotlin programming language for Android development
