We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in JavaScript for our China Delivery Team, where you'll work on providing IT solutions to a diverse array of clients. In this role, you will leverage Agile Methodology in the development team and collaborate with various functional roles/teams to ensure effective delivery.

Responsibilities

Participating in technical decision-making, designing and implementing technical solutions by adhering to software development principles and best practices. Occasionally, you will assume the roles of Lead and Coordinator
Conducting code reviews, guaranteeing the quality of the team's code and other deliverables, and addressing software performance issues in line with delivery excellence practices
Leading and contributing to software engineering activities, such as requirements clarification, estimation and planning, workshops, and presenting solution proposals to customers
Serving as a mentor by explaining software engineering principles and practices, as well as their benefits, conducting technical interviews, and leading training sessions

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
5+ years of software engineering and development experience
Proficiency in Core JavaScript, web development, and familiarity with major JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
Demonstrated implementation of high-quality solutions using OOP/FP principles and Agile Development methodology
Proven experience in designing reusable and maintainable architectures
Familiarity with widely used CI/CD tools such as GitHub or Gitlab
Previous success in a key developer role, including leading a small development team

Nice to Have:
- Experience building Node.js applications using Express.js or other Node.js web frameworks
- Understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Ali Cloud, or Docker
- Experience in architect or tech lead roles
