Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines tailored for our Next.js application
- Automating application deployment processes and ensuring smooth deployments across different AWS cloud environments and targets
- Collaborating with development teams to set up and maintain efficient local development environments
- Optimizing infrastructure and tooling to support scalability, reliability, and performance
- Providing mentorship and support to team members on best practices for CI/CD, deployment, and local development setups
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar role
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript (Node.js) for automation tasks
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity CI/CD)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., AWS ECS, Hashicorp Nomad, Kubernetes)
- Expertise in infrastructure as code principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience working with version control systems, particularly Git
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Previous experience working with Next.js or similar frontend frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
- Understanding of networking and security principles in a cloud environment
