We are seeking a remote Senior Automation Tester in Java/Scala to join our team.

You will contribute to the quality and performance of the client's program by developing and implementing automated testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective test automation frameworks for the program
• Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios to ensure the reliability and performance of the platform
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation processes and methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement test strategies
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure quality-focused development practices
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in automated testing, with a focus on Java and Scala
• Knowledge of Automation in Scala is a must have
• Proven ability to develop and execute test strategies for complex systems
• Experience with BDD Frameworks and System Testing
• Knowledge of Test Strategy Development and Web Service/API Test Automation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team
• B2+ English level

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Apache Cassandra
• Experience with Kubernetes, Postman
• Understanding of XML Query Language and functional programming concepts
• Experience with Datadog, Git, GitHub, Jira
