We're currently seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with prime experience in Cloudflare, specifically with Web Application Firewall rules, and proficiency in using Datadog for RUM, logs, traces and dashboards.

A strong understanding of security best practices and data analysis methods is also crucial. Previous experience with the Cobalt Platform, though not required, would be favourably considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze logs produced by Cloudflare WAF rules using Datadog
• Investigate product usage patterns
• Summarize and report on findings from data analysis
• Make data-driven recommendations on WAF rules, such as enabling or disabling rules and defining appropriate actions to be taken
• Update Terraform scripts based on the decisions made
• Work seamlessly with a distributed team

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cloudflare, specifically Web Application Firewall rules
• Proficiency in Datadog (RUM, logs, traces, dashboards)
• Understanding of security best practices
• Strong data analysis skills
• Experience with Terraform scripts
• Excellent communication skills, with experience working in a distributed team
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
