Responsibilities

Deploy innovative analytical solutions with Spark/PySpark, NoSQL, and other Big Data technologies
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to grasp requirements and influence decision-making
Sustain collaboration with architects, technical leads, and key individuals across various functional groups
Analyze business issues and technical environments to implement high-quality technical solutions
Engage in code review and test solutions to align with best practice specifications

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years engineering experience in Data Management, Data Storage, Data Visualization, Operation, and Security
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, Scala, or Kotlin
Strong experience with SQL and familiarity with Big Data tools, primarily Spark/PySpark, and optionally Hadoop, Hive, and Flink
Comprehensive understanding of Cloud Solutions for Data environments: AWS (Glue, RedShift), Azure (Databricks, Data Factory, Cosmos), GCP (BigQuery, DataProc, DataFlow)
Understanding of CI/CD and software development with Big Data technologies
Proficiency in software development with Big Data technologies including administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning
Knowledge of data ingestion pipelines, Data Warehousing, and Data Lakes
Skills in data modeling and developing scalable, available, and fault-tolerant systems
Analytical approach to problem-solving with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Motivated, independent, efficient, capable of working under pressure with a keen sense for setting priorities
Knowledge of Containers and Resource Management systems like Docker, Kubernetes, and Yarn
Experience in direct customer communications

Nice to have

Experience with Event Streaming tools such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis, Events Hub
Knowledge of Orchestrator tools like Airflow and Databricks
