We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst with expertise in SAP BW to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to both client/business stakeholders and development teams, playing a critical role in requirements elicitation, proposing functional solutions, and supporting acceptance testing.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client/business stakeholders and development teams
- Lead requirements elicitation, propose feasible functional solutions, and support acceptance testing
- Work directly with development stakeholders for requirements feasibility discussion and ambiguity resolution
- Document software system requirements and manage them with E2E traceability
- Utilize project/change management tools for feature/epic description, user stories, and acceptance criteria using Gherkin BDD approach
- Utilize BW components for OLAP analysis, multi-dimensional reports, dynamic dashboards, and forecasting tools
- Contribute to BW projects including implementation, upgrade, rollout, support, or testing
- Collect and document business requirements using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
- Interact with business teams, solution architect teams, and cross-functional teams
- Possess knowledge of other SAP Analytics applications like BO or BW on Hana or BOBJ or SAC
Requirements
- 9-15 years of experience in business and data analysis
- Proven experience as a liaison between development and business partners in SDLC projects
- Direct experience working with client/business stakeholders for requirements elicitation, proposing feasible solutions, and acceptance testing
- Ability to work directly with development stakeholders for requirements feasibility discussion, ambiguity resolution, and test scenario review
- Proficiency in documentation of software system requirements and requirements management with E2E traceability
- Experience in SDLC in agile frameworks such as SCRUM, Kanban, Scrum Ban, SAFe
- In-depth knowledge of BW components like OLAP analysis, multi-dimensional reports, dynamic dashboards, and forecasting tools
- Experience in BW projects including implementation, upgrade, rollout, support, or testing
- Ability to collect and document business requirements using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
- Desirable configuration experience of BW and the ability to work on configurations if required
- Prior experience in interacting with business teams, solution architect teams, and cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of other SAP Analytics applications like BO or BW on Hana or BOBJ or SAC is an added advantage
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience in technical stacks of the project, such as DB & backend services, ETL processes, API & Web Services, Batch Jobs, Notifications and Subscriptions, Message Queues
- Experience in leading domains like BFSI, Insurance, Payments, Healthcare, LifeSciences, ECOMM, Supply Chain
- Experience in software development and/or testing
- Some experience in Scrum Master or Project Manager activities
- Onsite client location experience
