We are seeking an Accessibility Tester to conduct thorough testing of assigned products and ensure all defects are promptly reported.
The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of testing protocols and defect tracking. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), as well as proficiency with assistive technologies and automated testing tools.

This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

Responsibilities
- Conduct accessibility testing on assigned products and report all defects pertaining to WCAG violations
- Demonstrate testing proficiency and meet productivity and quality benchmarks
- Collaborate and communicate closely with key stakeholders in design, product management and product engineering to facilitate testing efforts throughout the product development lifecycle
- Cooperate with the Testing Lead to guarantee on-time completion, precision and alignment with expectations for all testing requests
- Participate in creating and maintaining process documentation in partnership with subject matter experts
- Suggest process improvement ideas and provide feedback on testing tools, applications, and processes
- Ensure that accessibility policy and guidelines are followed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information science, information design, computer science or equivalent industry experience
- 2+ years of background in an accessibility-related field
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 (AA) guidelines
- Good level of understanding of assistive technologies and accessibility-related software, including JAWS and NVDA and automated testing tools
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar for logging and tracking bugs
- Demonstrated success facilitating testing efforts across multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and capability to interface with high-level stakeholders
