We are looking for a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing new products and platforms, focusing on building a seamless user experience for our customers. You will work with a dynamic team of engineers, product managers, designers, and QA professionals to create the “Backend for Frontend” API layer.

Responsibilities

• Design and build server-side applications using Java, focusing on performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the backend seamlessly integrates with other services and meets the needs of our mobile apps
• Refactor, write, and delete code as necessary to maintain a high standard of code quality
• Write unit tests, fix bugs, and ensure continuous integration to maintain the reliability of systems
• Integrate with and modernize existing backend services

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Java development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in building server-side applications using Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of unit testing, continuous integration, and asynchronous code
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Experience in performance analysis, optimization, and fixing bugs
• Familiarity with legacy code, open source tools, and working in a team
