We are actively seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test to be part of our Infrastructure Operations team, supporting a client within the Gaming Industry.

In this capacity, you will ensure the quality and reliability of online services for over 500 million gamers globally. Collaborating with a talented team of engineers, you will enhance the developer experience by delivering robust tools and platforms, facilitating quicker, safer, and more effective development, operation, and scaling of applications.

Responsibilities

• Work with a 6-member DevOps team to perform performance testing on Perforce (P4)
• Implement various components on AWS and create lead testing scripts as needed
• Execute performance testing on AWS infrastructure and compile outcomes
• Create, develop, and sustain automated test frameworks and scripts
• Detect, isolate, and report bugs and issues in the system
• Offer technical advice and mentoring to less experienced team members
• Engage closely with development teams to comprehend features and technical implementation
• Uphold quality standards and best practices
• Engage in code reviews and support continuous process enhancement
• Keep abreast of new testing tools and methodologies

Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience in software testing or development
• Over 1 year of pertinent leadership experience
• Profound knowledge of Perl or Python
• Experience with working on AWS
• Demonstrated proficiency in performance testing
• Acquaintance with version control systems, ideally Perforce
• Solid grasp of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
• Ability to craft clear, concise, and thorough test plans and test cases
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Certifications in Quality Assurance or relevant fields
