Responsibilities
- Review and analyse monthly results during each closing to ensure accuracy of reported Trial Balance in coordination with the respective Controller
- Support the Controller in periodic Stat to US-GAAP reconciliation/bridge for internal purposes
- Assist the Controller in the Statutory Audit process
- Help coordinate the information flow between SSC teams and Statutory Auditors
- Ensure quality information is available for the Auditors that reconciles with Financial Statements
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis for Stat purposes as requested by Auditors and agreed with Controller
- Assist the Controller in investigating particular accounting, control or other finance issues. Own the issue and pro-actively drive resolution with other stakeholders. Provide timely feedback to Controller
- As per agreement with Controller, take responsibility for overseeing particular accounting/tax areas, processes and ensure they are operating in line with local regulations and internal policies
- Strongly assist the Controller in overseeing newly acquired entities and related integration process. Drive post integration issue resolutions, system decommissioning, etc
- Support the Controller in potential entity mergers to ensure seamless transition
- Support the local operations from Controllership perspective as requested by the Controller
- Additional ad-hoc support for other finance matters/activities
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent
- Holder of a local equivalent of a valid CPA qualification
- Minimum 7 years working experience in the field of accounting either at a multinational company or in Audit services (Big4)
- Excellent knowledge of statutory and IFRS/US-GAAP accounting standards
- Basic knowledge of Taxation and Transfer pricing principles
- Experience in working with Shared Services environment
- Strong analytical and IT skills (preferable SAP, ERP, MS-Office)
- Ambitious, polished, highly articulate and strong interpersonal skills
- Professional working proficiency in English
