Lead DevOps Engineer (AWS) Description

Responsibilities
- Oversee the support and configuration of Linux/Unix servers, ensuring their reliability, security, and high-performance levels. Utilize AWS services like S3, ALB, Lambda, Fargate, VPC, CloudWatch, and IAM to design and implement scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions
- Implement automation strategies to achieve continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing to ensure rapid and reliable deployments
- Leverage Terraform and/or CloudFormation to define, manage, and provision AWS resources in a declarative manner. Design and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code templates to ensure consistency and repeatability in cloud resource management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders, to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in support/configuring of Linux/Unix servers
- Experience in AWS is mandatory
- Understanding of CI/CD (Jenkins and/or GitLab) and project life-cycle principles
- Terraform and Kubernetes expertise
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal for interacting with the team, presentation skills for working with the clients)
- At least Upper-Intermediate level of both spoken and written English (B2 and higher)
