EPAM Greece is inviting DevOps TechLead to join our Cloud and DevOps Practice and the multiple projects with mature cross-functional engineering teams (with strong cloud expertise, engineering excellence practices, DevOps architecture, Data DevOps).

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer (Azure) to make the team even stronger. Expertise in Kubernetes is a must-have.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Greece.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain operations and SysOps-related components
• Work with CI/CD
• Operation and maintenance of production environments
• Create deployment scripts
• Metrics and performance monitoring and alerting (collect metrics, store metrics, build dashboards, configure alerting)
• Automate go-live activities
• Help engineers with troubleshooting and investigate alternative solutions
• Create operational manuals

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a System Engineer (DevOps area), 5+years
• 3+ years of relevant experience with Azure Cloud (Bicep, Azure DevOps, Azure VM, Azure WebApp, Azure SQL)
• 1+ years of team-leading experience
• Scripting experience in Python and PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with Docker
• Skills with Jenkins/Octopus
• Container orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm charts
• Infrastructure as a code: Terraform, ARM Templates, etc
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana, New Relic, Dynatrace, Datadog
• Solid understanding of logging platforms (any of ELK, Splunk, etc.)
• Upper-intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)
