We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team at a leading Canadian retail company.

As a member of our continuous delivery squad, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our front-end solutions to deliver seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and implement front-end applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and VueJs
• Collaborate with team members to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic and Handlebars templates
• Write and maintain robust, clean, and efficient code by conducting unit and integration testing
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring web accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software to improve performance and usability
• Participate in Agile development practices and contribute ideas in Scrum or Kanban sessions

Requirements

• Background in software development and familiarity with various methodologies
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and jQuery
• Skills in VueJS, Handlebars, and Razor templates
• Competency in HTML5, XHTML and understanding of HTML semantics
• Expertise in CSS, SASS, and Bootstrap versions
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Capability to use version control systems like GIT
• Flexibility to use engineering excellence practices and familiarity with PHP
• Basic qualifications in C# are considered an asset

Nice to have

• Qualifications in C# and PowerShell
• Understanding of Azure DevOps
• French language skills
