We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer to strengthen our team. You will participate in developing and improving tools that help enterprises effectively manage the security of their software components.

This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, a well-equipped office in Tbilisi or coworking spaces in Batumi and Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and optimize databases based on PostgreSQL
• Create user interfaces with Angular
• Integrate security features into products
• Contribute to the development of new features and enhance existing functionality
• Collaborate with the team to solve technical challenges and ensure high code quality
• Participate in code reviews and apply best programming practices

Requirements

• At least 3 years of background in Java and Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience with relational databases
• Hands-on experience in frontend development using Angular and/or SAP UI5
• Understanding of secure software development principles and experience implementing security-related solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• B2+ English level proficiency

Nice to have

• Experience with automated testing tools
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Knowledge of additional such as NodeJs, SAP UI5
• Proficiency with and integrating RESTful APIs
