Senior DevOps Engineer Description
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and oversee tooling, processes, and support, ensuring reliable deployment of our applications to production.
You will play a crucial role in development, issue detection, and facilitating rollbacks while ensuring that Service Level Objectives are met and applications scale effectively.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities
- Lead production deployments for the squad's work
- Develop infrastructure and pipelines while adhering to established standards
- Identify deviations from technology standards and report to the TDA (Technical Design Authority)
- Manage AWS Cloud Development Kits, CloudWatch and Docker environments effectively
- Implement and maintain Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and delivery
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS constructs
- Automate tasks and processes through scripting using Python with Boto3
- Handle provisioning, orchestration, and configuration management using Ansible, Packer, and Terraform
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, connectivity, and Linux environments
- Use source control software such as Git and manage processes in Jira
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar
- Knowledge of Docker, Docker-Compose, ECS Fargate, and EC2-based VPS peering
- Expertise in managing extensive AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudTrail, IAM, and AWS Managed Services
- Skills in CloudFormation and CDK using TypeScript or Python
- Background in provisioning and configuration management through Ansible, Packer, and Terraform
- Proficiency in orchestration tools like CloudFormation and Docker
- Understanding of modern CI/CD approaches and branch strategies
- Competency in Linux system troubleshooting including Performance and SystemD
- Familiarity with Alerting & Dashboarding tools such as AppDynamics
- Qualifications in process management via Jira and source control using Git
- Flexibility to work with Java/Spring Boot application frameworks
- Capability to implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Concourse
- Understanding of both relational and non-relational databases and Cloud Storages
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

- Proficiency in AWS Lambda
- Skills in Bash scripting
