If so, then EPAM has a perfect opportunity for you as a hybrid Senior Data Consultant (m/f/d), to join our Data and Analytics Practice in Germany. This position is a part of the Global Consumer Data and Analytics Consulting team including experts from many different sectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels and external and internal partners to maximize growth within an account/client portfolio
• Be part of the team building EPAM’s overall Data & Analytics offering and go-to-market, making sure it covers Financial Services and Banking clients’ key strategic problematics
• Ensure compliance with data-related laws and regulations, mitigating risks and protecting the organization's reputation
• Work with the local and wider global technical and business data practice to advise clients regarding their overall Data & Analytics strategy and implementations
• Help clients get more out of their existing Data & Analytics projects, identifying the solutions and services based on client needs, constraints and strategies
• Work closely with project/program management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model
• Lead research and strategy creation and sponsor development of new Data & Analytics products or services to expand markets, monetize data and grow company revenue

Requirements

• Expertise in big data architecture and technologies, and data delivery management
• Strong knowledge of key technologies: Informatica, Oracle, DWH, Big Data, Spark, Scala, HDFS, Kafka, Cloudera, ETL/ELT
• Excellent knowledge of data governance, data quality, data cataloging, data migration and data mesh
• Proficiency in migration to cloud (preferably Google Cloud Platform - GCP)
• Extensive experience developing and growing client relationships
• Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real support to your team
• Experience of working with relevant delivery teams
• Confident in expressing points of view, making recommendations and presenting analysis and recommendations where appropriate
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English
